Maybelline Fit me shine free stick foundation Vs Revlon Photo Ready Insta Fix stick foundation

Maybelline Fit me shine free foundation stick: 15.95$
Revlon Photo Ready Insta Fix foundation: 29.95$

Here is a quick comparison of both foundations

  • Both have same packing with twist function and available in variety of colours.
  • Both are highly pigmented and fragrance free
  • Both provide medium to full buildable coverage
  • Both are long lasting but Revlon stays for 2-3 hours more than Maybelline one
  • Maybelline one is soft creamy while Revlon is hard and not so creamy.
  • Maybelline is very easy to bend but with Revlon you need little more effort to blend.
  • Maybelline is for normal to combination skin while Revlon is only for oily skin
  • Maybelline is cheap and often goes on sale while Revlon  is expensive for drugstore foundation.

Final Verdict: Personally I feel that Maybelline is better than Revlon foundation but it also depend on your skin type and preferences. Both foundations are good but Maybelline one is more suitable for my skin.

Estee Lauder Modern Muse Le Rouge Eau de Parfum Spray Review

Price: 90-160$ from David Jones, Myer and Online
I got its sample from Estee Lauder counter, after first use I find that it has such a pleasant fragrance

According to Estee Lauder
"A sexy, provocative contrast of two distinctively different accords—rich roses awakened by ripe fruit, with a seductive velvet creme accord—provide an intriguing dual impression. It's a true innovation in fragrance design, as complex and fascinating as the woman who inspires it"

It has light decent fragrance which is not so overpowering. Its smell is floral oriental feminine and lasts for days on my clothes while only few sprays are enough for single use.

I like this perfume and I recommend it for those who want decent, long lasting and oriental fragrance.

Benefit Rockateur Review

Price: 51$ from Myer and Adore Beauty

The blush comes in a cute cardboard packing with mirror and brush.  The blush looks brownish pink and glittery in the box but actually it is shimmery coral coloured . The glitters on the blush disappears when I use the products as it is only the top layer.

The blush is highly pigmented and creamy while the brush is also soft can be used for touch ups. It is very easy to apply and blend, it looks very natural on my yellowish skin tone. It does not look powdery on my dry skin. It has very good staying power and last for long time on my checks.

The blush is great for all skin types, it does not highlight dry patches of my skin. I recommend it for every one.

The only dislike is its price, we only get 5g products for 51$ which is very expensive. All the other Box o powder blushes are almost 7-12g with the same price tag

My Rating: 4/5
