Face of Australia Glamazon Blush and Highlight Kit Minx

Face of Australia Glamazon Blush and Highlight Kit: 9.95$ from Priceline, BigW, selected Stores

Swatches from left to right: Blush and highlighter

Here is a quick review of FOA blush
  • It has strong packing with mirror and with out brush.
  • The blush is matte candy pink and the highlighter is glossy light pink.
  • Both shades are beautiful but blush is more suitable on my pale light skin tone.
  • The highlighter is not very pigmented and its hard to work with it but the blush is more pigmented..
  • Both shades are easy to apply with little fall out and blend beautifully but you need to apply several times to show intense colour.
  • Both last has decent staying power and last for 4-6 hours on my skin.(I have dry skin).
Tips:
  • This blush is great if you are beginner because if you apply it in wrong place it will not show the colour.
  • I used it with my Real technique blush brush but it does not work, you need to apply it with the brush which is not very soft.
Final Verdict: I like the blush but highlighter is bit difficult to apply and not flattering my skin colour. But still the compact is not very bad for the price. I recommend it for make up beginners and those who want to play with different blush and highlighters.

L'Oreal Revitalift Cleanser and Day Cream* review

L'Oreal Revitalift Milky Foam Cleanser: 13.99$ from Supermarkets, Target, BigW and pharmacies
L’Oréal Revitalift Day Cream*: 32.99$ from Supermarkets, Target, Big W and pharmacies

The cleanser comes in soft white 100 ml tube which is very easy to use. It has creamy thick texture and it is applied easily with out dripping. It does not foams a lot but still makes some bubbles. It is easily removed with few splashes of water. I have normal to dry skin and sadly this cleanser makes my very dry. It feels like it is stripping my skin and my dry patches are more prominent after each use. Then I stop using it and I use it sometimes when I need to remove my oily sunscreen.

I always thought that anti aging products are not suppose to dry our skin but the case is different with this cleanser. I think that it is more suitable for oily skin and I do not think that it has effective anti-aging properties, honestly this cleanser is a disappointment for me.

My Rating: 2.5/5

L’Oréal Revitalift Day Cream comes in square jar with red lid and contain 50ml products. The cream itself has thick consistency and smells pleasant. I apply it on my face and neck, it absorbs quickly with out leaving greasy residue. I use it in the morning before the applying my make up. I notice that it does not affect the longevity and looks of my make up. My foundation apply smoothly over this, and my skin feels hydrated for the whole day.

I use it for few weeks and I see some improvement. My skin was soft and hydrated, while my dry patches and rough skin converted into smooth. I can not see magical results after few weeks of use, which is very normal for anti aging cream.

I recommend it for normal or dry skin beauties and for those who do not bother Jar packing. This creams improves the moisture level of my skin but this is not for those who are looking for a magical cream that disappears wrinkles and fine lines in weeks time

My Rating: 3.5/5

BeeBio Cleanser and Masque*

Few weeks back I have received some products from New Zealand based brand BeeBio.

According to BeeBio, their  products are designed to give new life to your skin through the use of scientifically proven, natural anti-aging ingredients.

Bio Bio Masque and Bee Bio Cleanser

I am reviewing BeBio cleanser and masque in this post.

BeeBio Active Manuka Honey Anti Becterial Facial Cleanser: 47.95$

BeeBio Active Manuka Honey Anti Becterial Facial Cleanser comes in 150 ml elegant white tube which is very easy to use.  The cleanser itself is thick, creamy and fragrance free. It applies easily on face and removes with few splashes of water with out leaving any greasy residue

Having dry sensitive skin, I love using fragrance free product. BeeBio cleanser cleans my face gently with out drying or stripping my skin.  This cleanser also removes my make up easily, it  removes light foundation, BB or cc creams and even non water prof mascara.

I have sensitive skin and I am using BeeBio cleanser for last few weeks. I find that it works really very well with my skin, it does not break me out and does not cause any negative reaction like eczema or dryness.

I love this cleanser and it is great for dry, normal, sensitive and mature skin beauties. It is very gentle on my skin and great for those who wants an anti aging cleanser.  The only dislike is its price and availability, its only available in selected places and online.

BeeBio Venomenous Bee Venom and Fruit Boost Anti-Aging Face Masque: 99.95$

BeeBio masque comes in an attractive packing. The masque has very good consistency and it is easy to apply with out any fall off. It is very thick, creamy and fragrance free.

I apply the mask for 15 minutes and then remove it with water. The mask get dry (not very dry and hard) but still it is very easy to remove with few splashes of water. When I applied mask first time, I was very surprised to see that my skin looked healthy and nourished. After few days of use, it improves the moisture level,  my skin feels hydrated and  dullness converted into fresh radiance.

Overall I like this mask, This mask is great for short term and long term results. It instantly nourish my dull skin while I hope regular use bring more improvements. This mask is suitable for all skin types and for those who are looking for mask with anti aging benefits.

I wish BeeBio comes in big stores, then it will be very easy to buy them. Also being in store, we can actually see and try the products easily.

As you know that skin care brands from new Zealand are already very popular in Australia. I hope BeeBio will be the next most wanted brand among Aussie women.

L’Oréal Paris Nude Magique Cushion Foundation in Vanilla 03*

Price:29.95$ from Priceline, Chemist warehouse, Big W, Target, Kmart, and Super Markets

L’Oréal Paris Nude Magique Cushion Foundation swatch in Vanilla03

I have never used cushion foundation before so I was so excited to try this new foundation. L’Oréal Paris Nude Magique Cushion Foundation has cute purple silver packing which is very easy to use. It comes with mirror and sponge so it is great for touch ups, and can be easily carried in hand bag.

In the compact, the foundation is soaked in a foam, while a high quality sponge is provided for application.I also notice that foundation colour looks dark in the compact but upon application it is  light. I got shade Vanilla which was bit lighter than my skin tone, but surprisingly it adjusts to my natural skin colour beautifully and does not look artificial.

I use the L’Oréal Paris Nude Magique Cushion Foundation with its applicator and it works great. The formula is between cream and liquid while I find it best for my dry to normal skin. Before using this foundation I did little research on cushion foundation and I found that they normally provide light coverage. But L’Oréal Paris Nude Magique Cushion Foundation gives medium to full coverage which is buildable. It covers brown spots, acne marks, blue veins and uneven skin tones. My skin looks naturally fresh, dewy and flawless.

This fiundation does not dry my skin and does not highlight dry patches. It is long lasting and last for 6-8 hours on my face. My skin looks picture perfect for hours after using this foundation. I used it for few days and it works well with my sensitive skin, it does not broke me out ad does not cause any negative reaction.

I also found that this foundation is great when I am time poor because it is very easy to apply and blend. While due to cushion I can never use too much foundation.

This is a first drugstore cushion foundation in Australia and I am very impressed with it. There are some cons of cushion foundations but still they are great addition to our face make up. Cushion foundations are expensive like this 30$ foundation pack contains 14ml product. There are some hygiene issues with these foundations as soaked foam and sponge can get bacteria. This foundation is great if you do not bother these issues.

Overall, I love L’Oréal Paris Nude Magique Cushion Foundation. I highly recommend it for every one. I feel that this foundation is also great for those who are new to make up or not expert in applying foundation. Due to its cushion, we can never use too much while because of its applicator we can blend it easily without any hassle.

My Rating: 5/5
