Natio Eyeshadow Palette in Bloom

Price 19.95$ from Priceline, David Jones, Mayer and selected pharmacies

Natio released their eyeshadow palette few weeks ago, they are available in Bloom and Earth. I bought "BLOOM "in priceline 40% off make up sale, it has pinks and plum shades.

Swatches from left to right with out primer

Here is a quick review of this palette
  • It has strong transparent packing without mirror. It comes with a double ended brush and applicator but the quality of this brush is OK and I prefer to use my own brush.
  • I really like the shade selection of this palette, it looks inspired by Urban Decay Naked 3 while few shades are also close dupes of  Naked3.
  • All shades have smooth and buttery texture, but they are different from each other in terms of  pigmentation. Lighter shades have poor pigmentation and looks chalky while darker shades are better in pigmentation and looks beautiful.
  • All shades are applied and blended easily with little fall out but lighter shades are more powdery and have massive fall out.
  • The longevity of these eye shadows are also different from each other, lighter shades have poor lasting power while medium and dark shades last for longer time. Using a good primer underneath can extend their wear time.
Overall, this palette works well for me, I like the formula, texture and shade selection of these eyeshadows but I am not blown away by their longevity. I prefer to  use medium or dark shades, as light shades has poor pigmentation and they does not work on my skin tone.

In my opinion, this palette will be more suitable for you if you are interested to try medium and dark shades and  you can use good quality primer.

Priceline 40%off Cosmetics Haul

Priceline 40% off cosmetics sale is the most exciting event for make up lovers. I prefer to buy some make up in these sales, but this time I try to spend less. I had 3 Priceline vouchers which I need to spend.
Here are my haul, I have swatched all of them and find  MP palette as most exciting product.

I was thinking of buying loreal eye shadow palette but they were out of stock and sales girl refereed me to Natio. But I have no regrets about L'oreal palette, as my fellow blogger informed that Australian version is made in China and different from US(while all raved reviews are about US one).

Models prefer palette is just an impulse buy, I swatched it in store and can not resist to buy.

I bought Essence eyeshadows for my daughter but after using it, I keep it for my self (their quality is superb) and give her an other eye shadow palette.

I actually need eye pencils and I bought few of them to use and to stock. Savvy eye pencil in brown, Essence eye pencil in black ,Essnece and Maybelline pen eye liners, all of them are kind of make up essential for me. I am happy I pick them from this sale.

The grand total of these products were around 35$ but I only paid 7$, as I had 23$ payback voucher and 5$ birthday voucher from Priceline. Maybelline eye liner was from Coles and it cost me around 8$, it was 50% off .

What do you think about my spending, have you bought anything from these sales, love to hear your thoughts :D

NIVEA Q10 Plus Anti-Wrinkle Replenishing Pearls Review*

NIVEA Q10 Plus Anti-Wrinkle Replenishing Pearls; 29.99$ from Priceline, Target, Kmart, Big W Supermarkets and selected pharmacies

NIVEA Q10 Plus Anti-Wrinkle Replenishing Pearls is an anti-ageing skincare serum that combines highly concentrated Coenzyme Q10, encased in pearl technology, Hyaluronic Acid and Creatine.

First I like to mention that packing is gorgeous, we can see yellow pearl from transparent bottle which looks very sleek. The serum comes in 40ml pump bottle which is very easy to use. Upon pressing the pump, pearls and gel blends into silky light yellow serum. It has strong smell, I prefer to use fragrance free product. Mostly I find that Nivea products have strong smell, this one is not exception.

Upon application, it quickly absorbs into my skin with out leaving any greasy residue. It instantly makes my skin silky smooth, on very dry areas, I need to apply a little bit more. It hydrates my skin for up to 7 hours. I apply it under my make up and surprisingly it works like a primer. It makes my skin smooth, my pores are less visible and my foundations glides nicely on it.

After using it for few days, it improves the moisture level of my skin. I find that dry patches are disappeared, and my skin also feels soft and smooth.

Overall, I like this serum, and it is suitable for everyone. It can be used as a primer because it instantly smooths the skin. Those who have oily skin can use it alone and normal or dry skin beauties can use it under moisturiser.

Covergirl Outlast Stay Luminous Foundation in Buff Beige and outlast Primer Review

Swatches from left to right Out last primer and Outlast Stay luminous foundation in Buff Beige 825

Cover girl All-Day Primer
Price and availability: 14.95$ from Target,Kmart, Big W, Priceline, Woolworths, Coles and selected pharmacy outlets

The primer comes in an easy to use tube packing and it is almost fragrances free. It has lotion like runny consistency and it moisturises my skin very well. But it does not affect the application, looks and longitivity of my foundation. Honestly it only works like a normal moisturiser and did nothing  special for me.

Overall, this primer is just a disappointment, drugstore primers does not work for me, this one is not exception. I prefer to use my own moisturiser which has plenty of skin beneficial ingredients instead of this primer.

Covergirl Outlast Stay Luminous Foundation Buff Beige-825
Price and availability: 20.95$ from Target,Kmart, Big W, Priceline, Woolworths, Coles and selected pharmacy outlets

Covergirl Outlast Stay Luminous Foundation comes in a pump packing which is very similar to outlast stay fabulous foundation, the only difference is pump colour. I have dry skin, when I got this foundation I thought that it was an other version of Stay fabulous for dry skin. I love Covergirl Outlast Stay fabulous Foundation, you can read my review here. But I was wrong, this foundation is very different from stay fabulous.

Covergirl Outlast Stay Luminous Foundation is very creamy and only small amount is required to cover neck and face. When I used it for the first time, I applied too much and it gave me super cacky look, but next time I applied only small amount, and the results were better.

This foundation is almost fragrance free, it is very easy to apply and blend. It gives light to medium coverage which is not build-able. I used my compact powder to complete my look and to give little  more coverage. In terms of finish, this foundation gives very natural finish like I am not wearing any make up. The formula does not contain glitters or shimmer and it does not give me luminous finish, which is not a matter for me. But it do highlights dry patches and open pores of my skin which I do not like. I fixed dry patches by using heavy moisturiser underneath. The foundation  lasts up to 6  hours on my face which is good wear time

Overall, this foundation is good and I think it will work for all skin types. This is more suitable for those who want natural finish with light to medium coverage. Those who have dry or combination skin can use it after fixing their dry skin areas by exfoliation and moisturising.

Note: In my opinion, This foundation is very different from  Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous Foundation.and if you buy it keeping in mind Stay Fabulous Foundation, then you will be little bit disappointed.

Rimmel Kate Sculpting Palette in Coral Glow Review*

Rimmel Kate Sculpturing palette:16.95$ Priceline,Chemist warehouse, Supremarkets,Target, Big W

Swatches from left to right
Highlighter, Contour and Blush

Rimmel Kate Sculpturing Palette comes in nice sleek packing. It has three shades, Light illuminator for highlighting, Peach colour for blush and Brown one for contouring. All these shades have silky powdery texture and they are highly pigmented. They apply and blend easily with very little fallout. All shades work well on my light to medium skin tone and only one swipe is enough to show the  colour. I recommend using it light handed, other wise you will apply too much.

The best thing about this kit is its longevity. It lasts long on my face, even it cannot be removed with few plashes of water. I feel that their formula is very similar to Rimmel Blushes, They are also highly pigmented and long lasting. you can read my review here.

This is multipurpose palette and suitable for everyone even if you are not into contouring and strobing. These three shades are perfect for eye shadows, and the small compact is great for travelling.

I highly recommend it for every one but those who have very dark skin tone, the bronzer will not work for them, they can still enjoy using highlighter and blush.

BeeBio Skin Care Review*

I am reviewing three BeeBio products in this post, I am currently using them with BeeBio Cleanser and BeeBio Mask. I have already reviewed them on my blog here. If you want to know more about BeeBio, you can visit their website here.

BeeBio Active Manuka Honey Day Cream with SPF15: 81.95$
BeeBio Active Manuka Honey Night Cream: 81.95$
BeeBio Nectar Eye Serum: 129$

Here are quick review of three products, as I  use them altogether so I have explained the final results at the end.

BeeBio Active Manuka Honey Day Cream with SPF15
The cream comes in opaque white  jar packing, we can clearly read details on the jar. This product has creamy consistency and it do has SPF which is added benefit. The cream quickly absorb into my skin leaving it super smooth. I just feel that I do not need to use primer when I use this cream. (I like these kind of creams which works as skin primer). I have dry skin and this cream moiturise my skin very well up to 6 hours. My foundation glides smoothly over it , and its logitivity is not affected at all. It does not broke me out and does not cause any negative reaction. After few weeks of use my skin feels well hydrated and smooth.

BeeBio Active Manuka Honey Night Cream
The packing of this night cream is same as day cream, it also has opaque jar packing. The cream has thick consistency which is very similar to royal jelly and it takes time to absorb into my skin. I only need very small amount to cover my entire face, I hope that this jar will last longer. It keeps my skin moisturised for whole night and upon waking up, my skin is well hydrated and silky soft.  In first few days of use, I apply more than pee size but with regular use my skin gets better then I start using very small amount of this cream. This is my favourite product in these three, if I want to chose one item in beebio range, it will be this night cream.
Note: I recommend using it in small amount as its is very rich cream and it can be feel heavy if you apply too much

BeeBio Nectar Eye Serum
This eye serum has sleek packing with pump and has such a fine serum like consistency. It apply smoothly on my skin leaving under eye skin soft and smooth. It quickly absorbs into my skin and  feels very luxurious. It perfectly hydrate and plump my skin leaving fine lines smooth and less visible. I like this serum and I use it regularly.

Final Verdict: All these products are gentle on my face, they are chemical free and natural. All of these products has nice light smell like honey and plants. On my dry skin, they worked really very well and even improve the moisture level of my skin within few days. I continue using these products and after few weeks of use, my skin looks plump, radiant and youthful, while they also smooth the appearance of fine lines.

Beebio skin care is ideal for dry, normal, combination or mature skin beauties and for those who like to use natural skin care with affective anti-aging ingredients..

The only dislike is their availability, they are only available online and selected stores, otherwise this Beebio skin care is big hit for me.

Note: I am not affiliated with the links, they are only provided for your convenience.

The Body Shop British Rose Instant Glow Body Essence Review*

Price: 29.95$ from The Body Shop

The Body Shop British Rose Instant Glow Body Essence comes in a transparent plastic bottle with pump which is very easy to use. The plastic bottle looks cheap and it is made with very thin plastic. I was not expecting 30$ product in that kind of cheap plastic bottle. But body essence itself is outstanding and I really love it.

It has lotion like consistency and it smells divine. It's scent is like fresh flowers and even after hours of application, I can smell its beautiful fragrance. The lotion is very moisturising and quickly absorbs into my skin with out leaving any greasy residue. Due to its fragrance and its silky texture, It feels very luxurious on my skin. When I apply the body essence for the first time, I was not only blown away by the fragrance but I was also surprised to see that my dry skin felt silky soft. I have very dry skin and it get worse in Canberra's cold weather but this product works great with my sensitive skin. After few days of use, It improves the moisture level of my skin, and make it nourished and hydrated.

Overall, I love this body lotion and it is my new must have body product. This body lotion is ideal for every one and specially for those who love fragrant body lotions

Swatches  from left to right
Its a keeper 200,Easy does it 710, Listen up 300,Call me crazy 620, Revolution red 500.

Rimmel the only one lipstick* comes in a sleek black plastic packing with coloured ring. The packing is adorable because you can see the colour of lipstick with out opening it. It has nice smell which is not overpowering.

The lipstick  is creamy and pigmented, it glides smoothly on my lips. This is full coverage lipstick and one swipe is enough to show colour. The formula is very creamy and moisturising which is great for dry lips. My lips feel soft and hydrated even after hours of application. It does not highlight lines and dry patches of my lips. Like all creamy lipstick it does transfer a bit but if I apply it properly, it does not transfer much. The lipstick shades are true to its colour, all five shades look intense on my naturally pigmented lips.

Rimmel the only one lipstick  has decent staying power, but darker shades last longer than lighter shades. On average they last on my lips up to 4 hours with eating and drinking.  It also leaves pretty stain when it disappears.

Overall, I like this lipstick and it is a good addition in my make up collection. I highly recommend it for every one, those who have dry lips will surely love it.
