I am a huge fan of Rimmel lipsticks and I was  so excited when Rimmel releases these lipsticks .  They are available in 9 shades and luckily I got all of them.  These shades are suitable for all skin tones including very light to very dark skin colour.

Rimmel The Only 1 Matte lipsticks comes in a strong red plastic packing. The lipsticks have a pleasant sweet smell which is not overpowering. Their formula is creamy and they glides smoothly over my lips. They are highly pigmented, one swipe is enough to show intense colour. For me they are easy to apply and does not slip or does not look messy. They are opaque, true to their colour and give full coverage.

I am using these lipsticks everyday, I have found that they are very comfortable to wear. The formula is hydrating, they do not feather and do not highlight dry patches on my lips. They are long lasting and  stay perfectly on my lips for more than 6 hours with eating and drinking. They leave pretty pigmented stain upon disappearing.

These are my new favourite lipsticks, I am regularly using High Flyer and Call The Shots, both sades are perfect for every day wear. These lipsticks are great for those who want long lasting matte lipsticks in trendy and wearable shades.

* The products are provided for review purpose but it does not affect my opinion.

Maybelline Dream Cushion Foundation in Nude 21 Review

Maybelline Dream Cushion Foundation comes in an easy to use compact with puff and mirror inside. The packing looks bulky but it is great for touch up.
I have used L’Oreal Cushion foundation in the past. The packing of this one is very similar to L’Oreal one.  I got the shade nude21 which looks dark in the compact but the actual colour was much lighter and perfect for me.

I am using this foundation for last few days and I really like it. The foundation is highly pigmented, I applied it with its sponge, and it blends easily with out any hassle. Due to its packing the application is very easy and great for time poors too. In addition, you can never use too much and even a make up beginner can apply it properly

The formula is between cream and liquid, It gives me medium to full coverage which is build able. It covers minor imperfections like acne marks, brown spots, veins and uneven skin tone. For my skin this foundations works great in this summer, as my dry skin transforms into normal to combination during hot weather.  The foundation looks natural on my skin with out looking cacky and artificial. It gives me fresh, flawless and matte skin, It lasts more than 6 hours on my skin, then starts disappearing from my T zone. During the trial time it works well with my sensitive skin and does not cause any reaction.

Overall, I actually love this foundation, and I highly recommend it for everyone. Specially for time poors and make up beginner, it is a must have product.  I feel that foundation is great for normal, dry and combination skin, dry skin beauties need to exfoliate and moisturise before application.;

Boxing Day Haul 2016

Boxing Day is the most exciting event of the year. There were lots of great offers this time, I try not to spend much still I got some stuff during boxing day and January sales.

Nip+Fab Glycolic Scrub: I got it after reading some good reviews, it was on 50% off at Priceline

W7 Naughty Nine Palette: I missed MAC palette in latest BH  beautorium so bought the cheap dupe for 5$  from Chemist Warehouse.

Revlon HD Lipsticks: They were 50 cents each at Myer, I ended up buying 5 for 2.50$.

Klara Gift Packs: They were 50% off, I bought one, used it and instantly fell in love their Reset gel. Next day, I rushed to my local priceline and grab an other pack for 6$ to stock Klara Reset Gel.

La Roche Posay Christmas Cracker: I got it for 5$ at priceline..

The Body Shop Italian Summer Fig Body Lotion: It was down to 6$ only from 20$.

Mac Lipstick: I ordered it on MAC Australia website and it cost me 25.20$ as selected shades were 30% off. The shade is Perfect Score, it is a matte red colour suitable for all skin tones.  It was my first MAC order, so the shipping was free and they also included False Lashes mascara sample.

Bioderma Sensibio AR BB Cream Review

Price: 43.99$ from Priceline, adore beauty and selected pharmacies

                                                        Bioderma  Sensibio AR BB Cream
For label lovers
Bioderma  Sensibio AR BB Cream swatch

Bioderma Sensibio AR BB cream comes in a white elegant tube packing. It has thick consistency, it is fragrance free which is great for sensitive skin types. The cream is very pigmented and even looks dark, but upon application, it just melts into my light skin tone. It is very easy to apply and blend, I need only few seconds to blend it on my entire face. I do have dark circles, redness, and some acne marks, it helps to reduce their appearance and even covers some light marks very well. It gives light to medium coverage and looks natural on my skin. For more coverage I use my compact powder over it. I have dry skin and this BB cream keep my skin hydrated for hours. In addition it does not highlight my dry patches and open pores. It lasts on my skin for up to 8 hours which is very good for a BB cream.

I love the fact that it has SPF30 so I do not need to use extra product for sun protection. I have tried more than 8 BB cream but honestly this one is winner for me. It is hydrated, highly pigmented, provides decent coverage and has SPF, what else I want for a BB cream.

Bioderma BB cream is ideal for dry or sensitive skin types, which are prone to redness.  The only problem with with this product is shade selection, it comes in one shade which may not be suitable for very dark and very fair skin tones.

Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Menace Review

Price: 28$ only at Mecca
Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Menance

Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Menance (comfort matte) Swatch

Urban Decay Vice Lipstick is a new product, it is available in 100 shades and in four different finishes, cream, sheer, metallized and comfort matte. These lipsticks are a true competitor of MAC lippies.

I own the shade Menance in matte comfort, it is bright pink colour. I bought online at Mecca's website because UD is not available in Canberra. I saw the swatches online and decided to buy it. But when it arrives, the shade was way darker than my expectation. Still I love it and keep it for special occasions, as being too bright, I can not use it everyday.

Urban Decay Vice Lipstick comes in a sleek metal packing which looks pretty. There is 3.4 gram product inside which is more than MAC lipstick. The lipstick is almost fragrance free which is great for sensitive lips. It is highly pigmented, only one swipe is enough to show intense colour.  The formula is matte but creamy and glides smoothly on my lips. It is full coverage lipstick and one swipe covers my lips perfectly.  It is truly a comfortable matte and does not accentuate dry areas on my lips

This lipstick lasts for a long time on my lips, it does transfer a little bit, but still stays for more than 7 hours with eating and drinking. Upon disappearing, it leaves a pretty pigmented stain on my lips. Even at the end of the day, I need to remove it with make up remover.

Overall, I love Urban Decay Vice lipstick, this is one of the best lipsticks I have ever tried. I highly recommend it for those who are looking for a long lasting lipstick. The only dislike is its availability, you can only buy it on selected Mecca store.
